"Netfirms was fine, but the billing stuff is a mess"
netfirms worked alright for what I needed, but the billing situation was annoying. A few charges and renewals weren’t really obvious until after the fact, which felt like a little pricing mystery game I didn’t sign up for. Support did explain it when I asked, so credit there, but I still think the whole billing setup could be way clearer before you actually pay.

"Felt left in the dark"
I ran into a DNS issue and reached out to support, but most of what I got back were basic help links that didn’t really address what was going on. It took a long time before I got anything close to a useful answer, and even then it felt more like trial and error than someone actually knowing the fix. The site did come back eventually, but the whole experience left me feeling in the dark and not very confident in their support.

"SSL setup was such a headache!!!"
Getting SSL set up was way more frustrating than I expected... The instructions didn’t really match what I was seeing on my end, so I kept second-guessing every step!!! And support took a while to get back to me, which made it even worse. My site showed as “not secure” for way longer than it should have... definitely not a smooth experience!!

"Support actually takes way too long"
I’ve been trying to get a basic hosting issue sorted out, but Netfirms support is actually taking forever to get back to me. And when they finally do reply, it feels like they didn’t really read what I wrote in the first place.
I’ve had to explain the same problem over and over, which gets really frustrating, especially when your site is down. It just doesn’t feel like anyone is actually in a hurry to help.

"Way too many outages with no real answers"
My site kept going down with Netfirms, and after a while it got really frustrating. Some days it was painfully slow, other times it would just time out completely. Support kept telling me it was fixed, but then the same thing would happen again. At some point, you expect a hosting company to take responsibility and actually explain what’s going on instead of just giving the same response. I ended up moving my site elsewhere because I couldn’t keep dealing with unreliable hosting...

"Upgrading plans feels way too rigid"
I tried upgrading my plan and it felt more annoying than it needed to be. The options are rigid, and I kept noticing little things that made it frustrating, like not being able to tweak just one feature or adjust the plan without jumping into a whole different tier. It would be much better if there were more flexible choices instead of feeling boxed into preset plans
"Website builder are a headache"
I got frustrated using it. Every time I tries to edit a page, something else would break or shift around, and it just made a simple update feel way harder than it should.

"Felt like I was the one left dealing with the problems"
The hosting was okay when it actually worked, but it felt like I kept getting stuck with the bad luck. My site would randomly slow down or go offline, and every time it happened, I was the one scrambling and stressing while waiting for things to get fixed. Support did respond, but a lot of the answers didn’t really help, so it felt like I was being brushed off more than supported. Maybe it’s fine for a small personal site, but I wouldn’t trust it with anything important right now

"I tried to cancel my account, it..."
I tried to cancel my account, it was more annoying than it needed to be. If you’re planning to keep using the service, it might not be a big deal, but once I decided it wasn’t for me, the cancellation process felt unnecessarily drawn out. Support took a while to get back to me and didn’t really make things easier, which made the whole thing frustrating.

"Refund turned into way too much hassle"
I asked for a refund after canceling, it took way more effort than it should have. Support kept sending these short, not-very-helpful replies, and I ended up repeating the same details over and over, which felt like such a waste of energy.
I was still left waiting with no clear answer, and the whole thing just dragged on. Maybe other people had a smoother experience, but for me the refund process was slow, frustrating, and way more draining than it needed to be.

"Pages are actually slow to load"
netfirms is okay sometimes, but the loading speed has been frustrating. My site takes longer than it should to open, and it actually makes the whole service feel a bit unreliable. It’s not terrible, but I definitely expected better

"Migration help was disappointing"
I moved my site over to Netfirms thinking the migration support would make the whole thing smooth, but it ended up being more of a hassle than I expected. The replies were slow, and I had to repeat the same issue a couple of times, which got frustrating after a while.
Some of my files didn’t come over properly, and the email setup got more confusing than it needed to be. They did eventually respond and try to help, but it felt like I was still doing most of the figuring out myself, if that makes sense. It wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely wasn’t a great experience either...

"Netfirms made WordPress way more annoying than it needed to be"
I tried using netfirms for my WordPress site i kind of blame myself for sticking it out as long as I did. The site was slow way too often, the dashboard felt awkward to use, and support mostly gave me the usual basic replies that didn’t actually solve anything. After a couple updates, I started getting random errors too, which just made the whole thing more frustrating. Maybe it’s fine if you’re running something super simple, but for WordPress, it was a headache. I ended up moving my site after a few weeks

"Live chat was a waste of time today"
I tried using the live chat today for what should’ve been a simple issue, but I ended up sitting in the queue forever before anyone even replied. When I finally got through, the responses were super slow and felt like copy-paste answers. it didn’t seem like they actually read what I wrote
"Sales support didn’t really win me over"
I reached out to sales support with what I thought was a straightforward question before deciding whether to buy. The answers I got were vague and didn’t really help me feel any more confident. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but it came across like they weren’t that interested unless I was already signed up. Overall, not a great first impression

"My site was down for hours, and when..."
My site was down for hours, and when I reached out to support, it felt like I was just another ticket number in the queue. The only response I really got was to wait, with no real explanation or sense that anyone cared about the impact. Frustrating experience

"I had a small site on netfirms..."
I had a small site on netfirms, and dealing with the backup and restore part was way more annoying than I expected. I thought it would be a quick “click this and roll it back” kind of thing, but it wasn’t really like that.
When I messed something up, I just wanted to grab a backup and get back to where it was, but the whole thing felt kind of limited and not very clear. Support tried to point me in the right direction, I guess, but I still ended up doing a bunch of manual stuff and waiting around for whatever that was supposed to finish.
Maybe other people have a smoother time with it, but for me it was stressful. Backups are supposed to make you feel safer, not turn into another problem you have to figure out.

"Control panel is kinda annoying"
The hosting itself has been fine for me, I guess, but the control panel is clunky. It feels a bit outdated, and simple things like finding the DNS settings or email options take way more clicks than they shoudl. Sometimes it loads slow too, which gets annoying when you’re just trying to make a quick change. It’s not totally unusable or anything, but it defintely makes basic stuff more frustrating than it needs to be...

"Frustrating domain registration experience"
I registered a domain with Netfirms it was more annoying than it needed to be. The checkout went through fine, but the domain didn’t show up right away, and when I reached out to support, it took way too long to get a clear explanation. A friend had recommended them to me, so I expected it to be smoother. Maybe it works out better for other people, but I don’t think I’ll use them again.

"Renewal price felt unfair"
It started out affordable, which was great at first, but then the renewal price jumped a lot more than I expected. Once you’ve already got everything set up there, it kind of feels like you’re stuck. What made it worse was the whole process felt really impersonal, like there wasn’t a real person there to actually help or understand the situation
